⭐What’s going on in Ocean Village / World Trade Center Gibraltar⭐

Ocean Village will be soon be announcing information on all our restaurant’s re-opening. Watch this space! Gyms will be allowed to open and they will need to obtain a permit from the Director of Public Health: fitnesspermits@gibraltar.gov.gi – so now there’s no excuse! Ocean Health Club has announced subject to receiving its permit, it will be opening from 1st June with all safety and hygiene measures in place.

⭐Whats happening in Gibraltar? ⭐

The Chief Minister announced this week that we have won the first battle, describing our cases as a “cluster” rather than a “wave”.

The laws restricting freedom of movement will be lifted on 21st May and we can meet in groups of no more than 12 people.

Dr Rawal has stressed the importance of vitamin D to boost the immune system, so don’t forget your daily dose of sunshine!

The first The Gibraltar National Museum Virtual Open Day has been a success, during the day they reached 15,745 people online. The Museum is getting ready to welcome back the public by prior appointment.

The Covid-19 Mental Health and Wellbeing Team have worked throughout the current crisis to provide essential advice and support to those who need it and have established a Befriending Service. This service will match a COVID-19 volunteer friend with those members of the community who are feeling lonely and socially disconnected at this difficult time, and enable them to connect and engage with each other through telephone calls. Anyone over 60 who would like someone to talk to on a regular basis can request this service using the application form available via this link: https://bit.ly/2WKNYy4
